As you may realise, Mindfulness and breathworks is all about coming out of our heads - that monkey, chattering mind and into our real, physical sensations, using the breath as an anchor to keep bringing us back to it and away from that mind and what it's trying to con you into thinking is true!
This is a fascinating video of how our breath really does impact on our entire body, even our pelvic floor (who would have known!) It shows how we have 7 areas of breathing, 4 diaphragms and how each of these affects our entire body and brain. Hence the power of Mindfulness and the breath work.
For those of you who are not that fluent in French, do not despair...there are English subtitles and you may just want to put the sound on mute in order to truly take in this miracle breath as it is being explained.
