Breathworks for Stress 6-Week Online Course
Exciting news! I will be starting a new 6-week ONLINE course on Thursday April 24th - May 29th, 2025 for two hours a week, 6.45pm-8.45pm GMT, this would include:
The key concepts of Breathworks, building up a tool kit of resources to use at home - week by week
Mindfulness in action techniques to take into your daily life
Guided meditation practice
Gentle mindful movement with the breath
An option to discuss parts of the course in small, breakout groups
One-to-one contact during the week with myself if required
The cost of the course is £200 for 12 hours over 6 weeks. This cost also includes: one-to-one support given, by arrangement, between sessions.
I highly recommend participants purchase the small book that accompanies the course: 'The Little Mindfulness Workbook' by Gary Hennessey ISBN 978-1-78059-154-4. It's approximately £9.99.

Breathworks for Stress Course Details
In the beginning, humans were born with a negativity bias in order to survive – if we didn’t think there might be a lion behind that bush ahead, we’d have been eaten alive! So, we are usually on heightened alert and this can affect our levels of stress, anxiety and deplete our immune system.
The great news from neuroscientists and research using brain scans, is that we can learn to re-wire the neurons in our brain with practice and this can be done using mindfulness. Happiness and calm are skills that CAN be learned just as you can learn to drive a car.
At the end of this 6-week course, you WILL have a tool kit of daily actions, habits and practices that enable you to override this negativity bias and to prevent you from piling on secondary suffering onto what may already be quite a stressful life! When you apply them to your life, you will understand why one of my participants described breathworks as, ‘a game changer!”
