Breathworks for Stress 6-Week Online Course
Please contact me to book onto an online course - they are 6 weeks long as this is how long it takes to re-wire the neurons that keep us stuck in habits that don't serve us. Each week is a two hour session which includes all of the following activities:
The key concepts of Breathworks, building up a tool kit of resources to use at home - week by week
Mindfulness in action techniques to take into your daily life
Guided meditation practice
Gentle mindful movement with the breath
An option to discuss parts of the course in small, breakout groups
One-to-one contact during the week with myself if required
The cost of the course is £200 for 12 hours over 6 weeks. This cost also includes: one-to-one support given, by arrangement, between sessions. I highly recommend participants purchase the small book that accompanies the course: 'The Little Mindfulness Workbook' by Gary Hennessey ISBN 978-1-78059-154-4. It's approximately £9.99.

ABOUT THE COURSE
Do you need to improve the quality of your life and develop strategies to boost your mental health and wellbeing?
Happiness is a skill. This is what the ancient practice of breathworks/mindfulness teaches and what modern neurological research has shown. The wonderful thing is that this skill, just like driving or dancing, can be learned and it can stay with you for a lifetime.
Our brains were designed to survive - not to be happy. A great deal of stress is caused by the fact that our brains are trying to use stone-age techniques in the modern world.
At the end of this 6-week course you will have a foundation in the skills of breathworks, mindfulness, compassion, and meditation, and know how to apply them in your life in a way that really makes a difference.
WHO IS THE COURSE FOR?
This 6-week course, taught by an experienced teacher, in a supportive and friendly group setting, will teach you how to boost your happiness and well-being, find new sources of resilience, joy, and calm in your life.

Please bring: warm, comfy clothing (layer up); a warm blanket; a yoga mat, if you have one (if you cannot manage to lie down, being seated is perfectly fine); a pen and notebook.
