Breathworks in the Workplace
With the world of work being competitive, fast paced, time pressured and with increased workloads and various political and economic challenges, many places of work are conscious that unless they take care of the health and well-being of their workforce they are being faced with increasing depletion of employees due to illness and stress and therefore reduced productivity.
This affects everybody in that place of work, having a knock-on effect on all employees and so the cycle of even more pressure, an increased workload and absences flourishes, instead of the well-being of the workforce and the job they are supposed to be doing!
Breathworks and Mindfulness can prevent this vicious circle from taking hold – it can be broken…
Breathworks in the Workplace
The question here is what is breathworks and how can it be of help in the workplace? Well, neuroscientists’, research evidence and the use of brain scans, can now provide us with the proof that there’s a plasticity in our brains that we were previously unaware of; we can re-wire the neurons in our brain with practice and this can be done using breathworks and mindfulness concepts.
Our health and well-being will improve, using skills learned on these courses.
Be assured however, these courses will be tailored to the individual needs of the organisation or the participant and a briefing meeting would need to be arranged prior to the course; this could either be in person or on-line and of course, free of charge, in order to establish details such as the following:
• Who is the client/participant?
• Who is the course for in the workplace?
• What are the challenges faced by the workplace or the individual?
• What are the needs of the participants?
• Which programme meets their needs?
